Rudolf invited to join judging panel at wool event
Rudolf has been approached by the organisers of the biannual Bothwell SpinIn, asking him to join the judging panel for the design competition. The festival, centered around wool and all things that can be made out of it, is now in its 38th year. Run entirely by volunteers on a shoestring budget, the event aims to showcase creative Tasmanian textile artists and designers to an international audience.
The SpinIn will be held at Bothwell in Southern Tasmania on 03 & 04 March 2017.
Figure Drawing from Life at Holyman House
In collaboration with the (in)famous Lena Lindblad, Rudolf Couture is bringing a brand new concept for a creative ‘jam session’ to town. ‘Nudie Ruedi’ is what Lena suggested we call it and yes, it is a work in progress…
Enjoy a two hour session drawing the human form from a live model, surrounded by the elegant art deco features of Holyman House. Constructed in 1936 in the streamline moderne style, it is a true architectural gem in downtown Launceston.
The cost is $20 per person for those who can afford it, or by donation for those who cannot. Space is limited to 8 participants and there are model fees to cover, which is why bookings are essential. You can reserve your place by email or by calling Rudolf on 0402 228 571 . For all the latest news, visit and like our Facebook page by clicking here.
Starting 18 January 2017, the event will be held every Wednesday evening from 6-8pm at Holyman House, Suite 44/52 Brisbane Street, Launceston. You will need to bring your own preferred media, avoiding any messy or smelly things.
