'...learn to sew, the way it used to be done.' is the slogan for Traditional Tailoring Techniques, courses designed for people interested in learning about sewing and how to manipulate fabrics. Since sewing is intrinsically linked to Pattern Drafting & Design, courses exploring this fascinating subject are now also available. Join a class on a weekday evening, a Saturday or an 'intensive weekend' and be amazed at what you can do once you know how! Classes are limited to just four students at a time, to ensure you benefit from individual attention; and you enjoy this unique experience.
You may begin your journey with either Traditional Tailoring Techniques I or Pattern Drafting & Design I. These courses will enable you to progress to advanced courses. Once you have completed your basic training in Traditional Tailoring Techniques and made your pattern blocks in Pattern Drafting & Design, you may then move on to construct your own garments in Advanced Garment Construction. Should you require private tuition or advice on a sewing project, you may book casual lessons by the hour, at a time to suit you.
